TENANT BOARD MEMBER Non-Executive (1 vacancy)
£3,005 per annum plus expenses and training opportunities
We’re looking for a Leeds Federated customer to join our Board of Management. You can apply if if you currently rent one of our homes, or have bought one of our Shared Ownership properties.
Social housing is dealing with the biggest changes to the way it operates in a generation. The Board is at the forefront of addressing those challenges at Leeds Fed, and has set a clear direction aimed at supporting tenants, improving homes and building more homes in Leeds and Yorkshire.
We want people who are passionate about making a contribution and are able to embrace our vision of ‘Building futures together’ with tenants, partners and stakeholders.
As a Board member you will contribute at a strategic level across the business, enjoying good honest discussions at meetings. There will be opportunities for you to learn about new areas of work, to develop new skills and be part of a team which is passionate about the communities it serves.
The Board meets usually early evening approx. 7 times a year with additional operations, audit and risk, and governance committee meetings. Your expected contribution will be approx. 15 days per annum.

There is a Board meeting on 19 July and the successful applicant will be invited to attend this meeting as an observer prior to being appointed to the Board at the Annual General Meeting in September.
