Leeds Fed and Engie receive their award

Leeds Fed and Engie win best contract award

Leeds Federated Housing Association and its partnership with ENGIE has won ‘Best Contract’ at the 2018 National Housing and Maintenance Forum (NHMF) awards.

The award is in recognition of the work that Leeds Federated and ENGIE’s regeneration business (formerly Keepmoat Regeneration) have completed. Winning in the category of best managed maintenance provider by an external contractor or in house maintenance team. The accolade was received at a prestigious ceremony at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on Tuesday evening. The judges’ comments said that it was a substantial contract that ‘considers the community, as well as residents, as central to its success.’

Mark Donnachie, Responsive Repairs Manager at Leeds Federated said:
“Our customers are at the heart of all that we do, so we are delighted to receive this award together with ENGIE.
“We work hard to seek contractors and stakeholders with similar values to ourselves; who believe in good work of a high standard, and we look forward to continuing to provide a great service of maintenance for our residents in the future.”

Steve Dalby, Regional Operations Manager at ENGIE, said: “We are delighted that this contract has been recognised by the NHMF Maintenance Awards for all the hard work the partnership has carried out over the last three years.
“It is an incredible achievement and a testament to the collaborative and innovative approach that we have with Leeds Federated Housing Association and showcases the results that can be achieved through true partnership working.”

The NHMF awards recognise success and ingenuity within the housing sector. They showcase projects and organisations that have excelled in improving the quality and efficiency of the services they provide.
